WES HUNTER
Wes and his family have been at The Mount since January 2015, and he has served as an Elder since December of 2018. He is employed at Sabre Holdings. Wes holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington.
Wes is married to his best friend, Amy, and together, they have two grown children: Summer, a student at Dallas Baptist University, and John, a student at LeTourneau. They also have three beloved pets: Snuggles, a long-haired chihuahua, Chester, their cocker spaniel, and a guinea pig named Chewie.

Wes feels that he has too many hobbies now, but if he could add one more, he would like to build and drive a custom rock crawler with full hydro steering. In a perfect world, he would have ample money and time for this hobby. Sadly, our world is not perfect and money is definitely finite!
Wes feels every man and woman should try scuba diving once in their life. He says it brings you to an amazing and fantastic part of the world where God's creation can't help but make you overwhelmed in awe and put a huge smile on your face.
The latest trend that most baffles Wes is social media challenges. Some seem to be fun and harmless and others are dangerous. He wonders why someone would try the milk crate challenge?!?
Wes believes the smell of barbecue is the best smell in the world and can only be described as utter bliss. He can't help but drool even thinking about the next “cue”!
