Zimbabwe Mission Trip 2025

WHEN?
April 4-16, 2025

WHAT?
We will be joining a ministry to rural pastors and leaders that was started in 2010 between an American pastor and a Zimbabwean pastor. We will be helping teach in their annual Bible conference, leading a youth camp, as well as providing biblical counseling to those in attendance. We will also be offering counseling and Bible study to the caregivers at our Mount missions partner, Harvest Family Village, which houses orphans from all over Zimbabwe.

Zimbabwe is a country of great poverty, high unemployment, and economic instability. It is one of the poorest countries in the world. There are 1.2 million orphans comprising about 10% of the population due to the AIDS epidemic. There is a great need for the truths of the gospel, Scriptures, and Biblical theology to be taught. Rural pastors and church leaders especially are hungry for teaching so they can lead their congregations well.

We are seeking individuals who are willing to lift us in prayer during our preparations, travels, and time in-country. Your prayers are coveted. Additionally, we are looking for support financially to assist us in offsetting our in-country costs of approximately $4,000. Any funds above this amount will go directly to meet needs in the country that inevitably arise every year. The donation deadline is March 20, 2025.
