Missions at The Mount
Making a Gospel Impact
Here, Near and Far.
We take seriously the challenge of Acts 1:8 as we advance the Gospel. God doesn’t have a mission for His church, but rather a church for His mission. Missions at The Mount is woven through everything we do. God’s call for us to go into all the world and make disciples affects the way we do missions everywhere, from the way we are neighbors individually, to partnering with gospel-centered ministries locally, to sending and supporting missionaries nationally and globally.

UPCOMING MISSION TRIPS
April 4-15, 2025
Zimbabwe
The Mount is sending a team to Zimbabwe, Africa from April 4-15, 2025. They will be joining a ministry to rural pastors and leaders that was started in 2010 between an American pastor and a Zimbabwean pastor. Our team will help teach in their annual Bible conference, lead a youth camp, as well as provide biblical counseling to those in attendance. They will also offer counseling and Bible study to the caregivers at our Mount missions partner, Harvest Family Village, which houses orphans from all over Zimbabwe.
July 2025
Founded in 1935, Camp CUMCITO sits on 600 acres near Warsaw, Missouri, and offers a one-week summer Bible camp experience to 400 low-income children and teens, ages 4-16, throughout every summer. Most campers only pay a $5 registration fee due to the generous volunteers who staff over 400 positions each summer and donors who help cover the costs for the campers.
The Mount takes a team of up to 30 volunteers to do a one-week girls' camp in July. Women counselors are the largest need but there are also opportunities for men, women, and teenagers to serve in the kitchen, recreation, crafts, and chapel. This is an excellent opportunity for a family mission trip! The cost of going is minimal, as the missions team covers much of the transportation cost, and the camp provides lodging and meals for the week of ministry.
