February 19-March 12
Dinner 5:30-6:30 | Tracks 6:45-8:00
Theology Track | Theology Of Suffering
“Why does God allow bad things to happen to people?” “Where is God in my pain?” “If God loves me, why is He allowing me to experience such hardship?”
These are common questions for Christians and non-Christians alike. Suffering is unavoidable in this life. However, there is a greater meaning and purpose to our suffering. Whether you’re currently experiencing suffering or it’s in your future, we invite you to learn God’s purpose in suffering and how there is a peace that surpasses all understanding.
Care Track | Caring for Those Suffering in Crisis
As believers, our call is to care for each other’s souls. But what do you say when you don’t know what to say? This track is designed to equip you with new tools to facilitate and cultivate a culture of care. We will learn how to care for those struggling with depression, fear, anxiety, and grief.
The Mount Student Ministry
Students (7th-12th grade) Options:
Student Bible Study | As we continue our focus on “Become Like Jesus," we’re excited to spend four weeks talking about what it means to follow. "Follow" is a four-session study that challenges students to dig into what it truly means to be a disciple of Jesus. It's easy to think of Christianity as a ticket to Heaven or a way to improve our lives, but following Jesus is much more than that. In this study, students will explore the lives of Jesus’ disciples to understand the cost and commitment of discipleship. They’ll wrestle with the question: What does it really mean to follow Jesus today, and how can we live out that calling in our everyday lives?
Serving in The Mount Kids (Requires background check and MinistrySafe training.)
Attend a Track | Students in 10th-12th grade can choose to attend either track for the four weeks. These will be intensive studies with adults so there is a very high level of expectation for any student wanting to attend a track. Those who choose to attend a track will be a part of weekly studies and discussions with others in the track!
